Records Management and Personal Data Policies

We recognise the importance of effective file keeping records and data management to enable us to carry out our functions. This requires, amongst other things, a data and record retention policy. 

To support these principles we have developed the following policies: 

  • ICT Systems Security Policy – this ensures the continuity of the Information and Communications Technology Department and minimises the risk of damage by preventing security incidents and reducing their potential impact.
  • Data and Record Retention Policy – this describes how data is to be stored, retained and disposed of.
  • Data Protection Policy – this describes the actions we will take to ensure we comply with the principles ofthe Data Protection Act 1998.
