Pride week, celebrating LGBT+ inclusivity and equality, culminated in Newcastle Pride on the 21 and 22 July at Nuns Moor in Newcastle city centre. The Pride flag was raised at SHQ on Monday and was flown all week.

Rainbow epaulettes and lanyards were available for any members of staff who wished to show their support throughout the week from HR.

On Saturday morning we held a Pride breakfast supported by our other blue light colleagues and after this we took part in the Pride March through the streets of Newcastle. Throughout Saturday and Sunday we welcomed people to our stand at Nuns Moor to talk about how we support the LGBT community.
