Partnerships

In a modern Fire and Rescue Service it has become increasingly evident that a wide range of agencies using their combined resources and skills in a collective way can achieve the outcome of the creation of a safer society. Partnerships are key to the modernising government agenda and many of today’s public services are being shaped and delivered through partnerships. Partnership working is potentially a powerful tool for tackling difficult problems that arise locally.

Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service values its partnership arrangements and recognises that the quality and cost effectiveness of the service it provides to the public can be significantly improved when organisations work well together.
