This course is the required third unit in the BTEC Certificate in Compartment Fire Behaviour Training (CFBT). This unit provides learners with the opportunity to provide evidence for key skills in communication, improving own learning and performance, problem solving and working with others.
The aim of this specialist unit is to enable CFBT trainers to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to underpin firefighting procedures. Students will demonstrate the ability to effectively use positive pressure ventilation (PPV) techniques. Students will also demonstrate the ability to use a PPV training facility and be able to apply the manufacturer’s user guidance and current good practice techniques
